3. Wood Crate with Vegetables by Irena Krak
“I made this cake for Nikola, my dear son in law, vegetarian and lover of natural. Vegetables are made with gum paste. Somewhere I put styrofoam balls coated with gum paste to reduce the weight. For glossy vegetables I used glucose with vodka. The wood crate is made with fondant mixed with Tylose (CMC). The cake is gluten free (milled almonds, chocolate, eggs), and the cream is made from chocolate with mascarpone.” ~ Irena Krak
